On September 8, 2022, the Xbox version was rated Teen instead of Everyone 10+ when voice chat entered beta. Users could now start playing with users from other platforms.
On October 30, 2017, cross-platform compatibility was introduced to Xbox version of Roblox. On January 26, 2016, the Xbox version of Roblox was released alongside 15 games when it was launched. On December 23, 2015, Roblox released an update on the project, revealing that it had passed Microsoft's certification process, with the release date expected to be around the end of January 2016.
